Basketball Recap: Bethel-Tate Comes Up Short

Bethel-Tate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 48-40 to the Whiteoak Wildcats, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Tigers were probably out for revenge after losing 38-29 to them when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bethel-Tate's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Whiteoak, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Bethel-Tate Tigers challenge the Williamsburg Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Whiteoak, they will be home for the holidays to greet Clinton-Massie at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
