Basketball Recap: Uniontown Comes Up Short

On Friday, the Uniontown Eagles came up short against the Waverly Bulldogs and fell 40-27.

Uniontown's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9-1. As for Waverly, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season.

Uniontown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 43-14 loss against Madison on the 11th. As for Waverly, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 43-37 win against Central Heights on the 11th.
