Football Recap: Rock Hill Blue Hawks vs. Plano Wildcats
Rock Hill was the 24-21 winner over Plano when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Blue Hawks took a 21-16 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats on Friday.
Rock Hill lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Nate Vincent, who threw for 153 yards and two TDs, and also rushed for 57 yards.
Even if they lost, Rock Hill's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Arthur Nersesyan refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself. Rock Hill got some further help from Max Wrobel: he picked up a sack and made 11 total tackles.
Plano was led to victory by Chance Culley and Kaedyn Brown. Culley rushed for 131 yards and one touchdown, while Brown gained 33 total yards. Culley is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 100 every time he's taken the field this season.
Rock Hill's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Plano, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-3.
Looking ahead, Rock Hill will welcome McKinney at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Plano does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
