Preview: Amanda-Clearcreek Aces vs. Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs
Amanda-Clearcreek is 1-9 against Bloom-Carroll since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Amanda-Clearcreek Aces will head out on the road to face off against the Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Amanda-Clearcreek is no doubt hoping to put an end to a 19-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Last Saturday, things could have been worse for Amanda-Clearcreek, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 61-42 loss to Liberty Union. Amanda-Clearcreek has not had much luck with Liberty Union recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 69-37, which was the final score in Bloom-Carroll's tilt against Bishop Ready on Monday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Bloom-Carroll has scored all season.
Amanda-Clearcreek's loss dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Bloom-Carroll, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-7.
Amanda-Clearcreek was dealt a bruising 69-31 defeat at the hands of Bloom-Carroll in their previous matchup back in January. Can Amanda-Clearcreek avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
