Volleyball Recap: Sophia Miller's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Bishop Kenny over La Cueva

Bishop Kenny's tournament run continued when they took on La Cueva on Friday. The Crusaders fell just short of the Bears by a score of 2-1. The loss put an end to the Crusaders' undefeated start to the season.

Several Crusaders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sophia Miller, who had three digs and two aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, Bishop Kenny fell to 5-1. As for La Cueva, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Bishop Kenny has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Trinity Christian Academy on the 30th. As for La Cueva, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Merritt Island on the 30th.
