It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Highland Hornets had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They snuck past the Hilltoppers with a 57-51 win. The victory was nothing new for Highland as they're now sitting on three straight.

Highland's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jesus Licon, who scored 24 points. Licon is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Isai Herrera, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds.

Despite the defeat, Los Alamos had strong showings from Josiah Fresquez, who scored 24 points along with six rebounds, and Niko Garcia, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds.
