It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but MacArthur had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the McKinley Tech Trainers. The victory continues a trend for the Mammoths in their matchups with the Trainers: they've now won five in a row.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant MacArthur was: they took both sets by at least 17 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-8.

Kailyn Wilson paced MacArthur's offense, picking up four kills. Wilson got some help from Rhenna Brawner and her eight assists. Wilson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

MacArthur's win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for McKinley Tech, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-9.

As of now, neither MacArthur nor the Trainers have any future games scheduled.
