McFarland has gone 4-0 against Portage recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The McFarland Spartans just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Portage Warriors at 7:15 p.m. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 11 consecutive losses for McFarland and three for Portage.

On Monday, McFarland ended up a good deal behind Lakeside Lutheran and lost 67-48. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 351st, while the Warriors are ranked 156th).

Meanwhile, Portage had to suffer through a 80-34 loss at the hands of Mount Horeb.

Portage's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for McFarland, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.

Everything went McFarland's way against Portage in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as McFarland made off with a 65-45 victory. Does McFarland have another victory up their sleeve, or will Portage turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
