Basketball Recap: Henderson Piles Up the Points Against Alvarado

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Chapel Hill, Henderson was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 51-17 win over the Alvarado Indians.

Alvarado's loss came despite strong showings from Mckayla Norris and Jayme Taylor. Norris dropped a double-double on ten points and 16 boards, while Taylor posted two points and seven rebounds.

Henderson's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Alvarado, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.

Henderson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 62-25 loss against Glen Rose on the 26th. As for Alvarado, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 45-27 defeat against St. John's on the 26th.
