Soccer Recap: St. Andrews-Sewanee Starts Season with Loss on the Road

St. Andrews-Sewanee had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Middle Tennessee Christian Cougars by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mountain Lions of the 4-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2020.

Coming up, St. Andrews-Sewanee will square off against The Webb School at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Middle Tennessee Christian, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Middle Tennessee Christian challenge the Tullahoma at 5:30 p.m. on March 4th.
