Volleyball Recap: Sunnyside Comes Up Short

Sunnyside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tucson High Magnet School Badgers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Badgers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-9, 18-25, 25-13, 25-22.

Sunnyside's record is now 4-15. As for Tucson High Magnet School, their win ended a five-match drought on the road and puts them at 8-16.

Looking ahead, Sunnyside will take on Marana at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tucson High Magnet School, they will face off against Pueblo at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
