Softball Recap: Cameron Dragons vs. Ravenswood Red Devils
Cameron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ravenswood Red Devils.
Skye Dobbs was huge no matter where she played even without the win. On the mound, she pitched six innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. That's the fewest earned runs she has allowed over her last three matchups. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one triple and one RBI.
In other batting news, Edie Hartley was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Kendra Thomas was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.
Cameron's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Ravenswood, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-9 record.
