Basketball Recap: Tabernacle Christian Extends Winning Streak to Two

If Carolina Christian wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Tabernacle Christian, they should've done a better job of containing Blain Wallace. The Rams enjoyed a cozy 64-48 win over the Lions on Friday with plenty of help from Wallace, who posted 30 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Tabernacle Christian's points.

Connor Lindsay was another key player, dropping a double-double with 11 points and 18 rebounds. Lindsay is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least 11 every time he's taken the court this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Tabernacle Christian and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Carolina Christian, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Tabernacle Christian will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Shining Light Baptist Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 2. The contest will give the Rams their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Carolina Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 53-45 victory against Victory Christian Academy on the 24th.
