Basketball Preview: Camden County Wildcats vs. Lowndes Vikings

The Camden County Wildcats will head out on the road to square off against the Lowndes Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Camden County is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Vikings in Georgia (the Wildcats are ranked 64th, while the Vikings are ranked 273rd).

After soaring to a 22-point victory in their last game, Camden County came back down to earth on Saturday. They fell just short of Valdosta by a score of 47-45.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Antwann Brown, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaleb Murray, who scored ten points along with four steals.

Meanwhile, Lowndes strolled past the Packers with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 50-31. The win made it back-to-back wins for Lowndes.

Camden County's defeat dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Lowndes, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11.

Camden County came out on top in a nail-biter against the Vikings when the teams last played back in January, sneaking past 57-54. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Lowndes' Kam Jackson, who scored 24 points along with six rebounds. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Camden County still be able to contain Jackson? There's only one way to find out.
