Basketball Recap: Port Barre Takes a Loss

Port Barre was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 42-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central Private Redhawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Devils of the 55-47 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February.

Port Barre's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Central Private, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Port Barre didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 46-23 victory against Pickering on the 11th. As for Central Private, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 66-45 loss against Parkview Baptist on the 11th.
