Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brazosport). They claimed a resounding 100-47 win over the Sweeny Bulldogs. The Exporters have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 22 points or more this season.

Defeat or not, Sweeny got some senior leadership from Clinton King -Varner and Tatum Waller. King -Varner almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds, while Waller posted 11 points and six boards. The dominant performance also gave Waller a new career-high in assists (three).

Brazosport's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-8. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.6 points per game. As for Sweeny, their loss dropped their record down to 3-20.

Brazosport will venture away from home to square off against El Campo at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brazosport has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Sweeny, they will host Columbia at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sweeny is facing Columbia at the right time seeing as Columbia is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
