Soccer Recap: Mariner Takes a Loss

Mariner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Glacier Peak Grizzlies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Glacier Peak this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Mariner's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6-2. As for Glacier Peak, their win bumped their record up to 7-4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mariner will square off against Meadowdale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mariner are facing Meadowdale at the right time seeing as Meadowdale are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Glacier Peak, they will face off against Cascade at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
