Hereford came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Vega Longhorns.

Hereford's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kyndall Valdez, who had 14 digs and two aces. Kaylee Alonzo was another key player, getting seven digs and two aces.

The win got Hereford back to even at 8-8. As for Vega, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hereford will host Dalhart at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Vega, they will square off against Fort Elliott at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
