Lexington Christian has gone a perfect 3-0 against Danville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Eagles will take on the Admirals at 6:00 p.m. Lexington Christian will be strutting in after a victory while Danville will be coming in after a loss.

Lexington Christian took a six-run defeat the last time they faced off against George Rogers Clark, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 win over the Cardinals on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since April 15th.

Meanwhile, Danville came up short against Rockcastle County on Wednesday and fell 7-4. The Admirals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fox Spears made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

The win (which was Lexington Christian's third in a row) raised their record to 19-11. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Danville, their loss dropped their record down to 21-10.

Lexington Christian skirted past Danville 3-2 in their previous meeting back in April of 2021. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Admirals turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
