Softball Recap: The Christian Academy vs. Delaware County Christian Knights

There's no place like home for The Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They blew past the Delaware County Christian Knights 13-5 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-7 two weeks ago.

Avery Burghart was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.
