McMahon extended their losing streak to five on Friday, dropping their season record down to 2-6 in the process. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Danbury Hatters. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Senators of the 12-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Alexa Smith made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run.
