Northern Burlington extends road losing streak to ten

Recap: Northern Burlington Greyhounds vs. Holy Cross Lancers
The Northern Burlington Greyhounds lost against the Holy Cross Lancers back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Northern Burlington suffered a tough 63-43 defeat at the hands of Holy Cross. Northern Burlington has struggled against Holy Cross recently, as their contest on Monday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Emmanuel Doku went supernova for Holy Cross, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 14 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Samir Wellington, who scored 14 points along with five assists.
Northern Burlington's defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-2. As for Holy Cross, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northern Burlington will be home for the holidays to greet Doane Academy at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Doane Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up five on Monday. Holy Cross will be home for the holidays to greet Trenton Catholic Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
