Basketball Game Preview: Glenwood Springs Demons vs. Roosevelt Roughriders

The Glenwood Springs Demons will square off against the Roosevelt Roughriders at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Glenwood Springs comes in on five and Roosevelt on three.

On Thursday, Glenwood Springs needed a bit of extra time to put away Coal Ridge. They walked away with a 53-45 win over the Titans.

Meanwhile, Roosevelt made easy work of Thompson Valley on Thursday and carried off a 67-41 victory. The Roughriders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 21 points or more this season.

Roosevelt's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for Glenwood Springs, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.
