Basketball Recap: Broadview/Lavina Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Broadview/Lavina can now relate to. They took a 53-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Harlowton/Ryegate/Judith Gap on Saturday. The Pirates have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Broadview/Lavina's defeat dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Harlowton/Ryegate/Judith Gap, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Broadview/Lavina wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 77-36 win against Northern Cheyenne Tribal on the 22nd. As for Harlowton/Ryegate/Judith Gap, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 85-63 victory against Custer/Hysham on the 22nd.
