Softball Recap: Oakridge Takes a Loss

Oakridge managed to slip by Umpqua Valley Christian the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Warriors lost 21-4 to the Monarchs on Friday. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Monarchs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Oakridge and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for Umpqua Valley Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Coming up, Oakridge will take on La Pine at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Umpqua Valley Christian, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Myrtle Point at 4:30 p.m. The Monarchs are facing the Bobcats at the right time seeing as the Bobcats are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
