Baseball Recap: Cisne's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mt. Carmel, Cisne was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Red Hill Salukis, sneaking past 6-5. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Runnin' Lions as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Cisne's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Red Hill, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cisne will face off against Brownstown/St. Elmo at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Red Hill, they will challenge Dugger Union at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Salukis are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
