Volleyball Recap: North Oconee's Undefeated Season over After Seven Games

North Oconee lost against Oconee County back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Titans fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1. The contest marked the Titans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

North Oconee started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 26-24, 15-11.

Having lost for the first time this season, North Oconee fell to 6-1. As for Oconee County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

The future could be bright for both North Oconee and Oconee County: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Titans will try to hand South Gwinnett their eighth-straight defeat when the two meet at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Oconee County will look to extend Greenbrier's five-game losing streak when they meet at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
