Baseball Recap: Round Mountain Knights vs. Beaver Dam Diamondback
Round Mountain had lost three straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 7-10 to make it four. They lost 9-3 to the Beaver Dam Diamondback. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Diamondback this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-6 on Friday.
As for Beaver Dam, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-9. They not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 25, 2025 (when they won 20-4).
For Beaver Dam's part, Manuel Castillo made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over 4.1 innings pitched.
