Volleyball Preview: Lane Tech Champions vs. Elk Grove Grenadiers
After two games on the road, Lane Tech is heading back home. They will be taking part in a tournament against the Elk Grove Grenadiers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Lane Tech sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 8-25, 25-23.
Despite the defeat, Lane Tech saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lena Palus had eight digs and two aces.
Meanwhile, Elk Grove beat Schaumburg 2-0 on Tuesday.
Elk Grove never let Schaumburg on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-23.
Lane Tech's loss dropped their record down to 28-7. As for Elk Grove, their victory bumped their record up to 12-19.
