Football Recap: Westside Skates Past Emerald with Ease + How To Watch

Westside entered their tilt with Emerald on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 43-7 win over the Vikings. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rams also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Westside found their leader in freshman Bear Woods, who threw for 324 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 13.0 yards per attempt. Those 324 passing yards set a new season-high mark for Woods. Westside's leading receiver Nehemiah Brown was Woods' top target yet again, picking up 94 receiving yards and one TD.

Westside's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Emerald, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.
