Mt. Vernon won the last time they faced Zanesville and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Yellowjackets came out on top against the Blue Devils by a score of 4-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for Mt. Vernon.

Mt. Vernon's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Zanesville, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Mt. Vernon will be playing in front of their home fans against Johnstown-Monroe at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Zanesville, they will face off against Bishop Rosecrans at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
