Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Madison Southern). They enjoyed a cozy 79-62 win over the Model Patriots on Friday. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 99th, while the Patriots are ranked 205th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory got Madison Southern back to even at 7-7. As for Model, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-9.

Madison Southern will head out to face off against Bryan Station at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Model, they will welcome Barbourville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
