Volleyball Recap: Chittenango Extends Road Winning Streak to 11

Chittenango waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Mt. Markham Mustangs 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Bears, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Chittenango walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-22, 26-24.

Jackson Blaszkow paced Chittenango's offense, picking up ten kills. Blaszkow got some help from Logan Bronner and his 33 assists. Blaszkow was also solid from the service line: he led the team with eight aces.

Chittenango pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Chittenango and Mt. Markham will both be playing Vernon-Verona-Sherrill the next time they take the court. Chittenango will host Vernon-Verona-Sherrill at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Mt. Markham will head out to face them at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
