Addison Trail posted their closest victory since January 20, 2024 on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Leyden Eagles 77-74. This was payback for the Blazers, who suffered an 83-72 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The victory got Addison Trail back to even at 10-10. As for Leyden, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

Addison Trail has already played their next match (against Downers Grove South), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Leyden will take on Proviso East at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Proviso East will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Leyden surely won't give up without a fight.
