Basketball Game Preview: Franklin Wildcats vs. Bellbrook Golden Eagles

The Franklin Wildcats will take on the Bellbrook Golden Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Tuesday, Franklin didn't have too much trouble with West Carrollton as they won 64-49. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Bellbrook entered their tilt with Valley View on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 66-57.

Bellbrook's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-8. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.7 points over those games. As for Franklin, their victory bumped their record up to 13-7.

Franklin beat Bellbrook 58-51 in their previous meeting back in January. Will Franklin repeat their success, or does Bellbrook have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
