Soccer Recap: Branham Comes Up Short

Branham's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Mt. Pleasant Cardinals by a score of 1-0. The Bruins haven't had much luck with the Cardinals recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Branham's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6-1. As for Mt. Pleasant, their record now sits at 8-2-1.

Branham is taking a road trip to square off against Westmont at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Westmont will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Branham surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mt. Pleasant, they will welcome Leigh at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
