Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Taylorsville). They were the clear victors by a 28-6 margin over the Leake County Gators on Thursday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Tartars as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
The team relied heavily on Nela Ducksworth, who scored three runs and stole four bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Those three runs gave her a new career-high.
