Volleyball Recap: Richlands Comes Up Short on the Road Against East Duplin

Richlands had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the East Duplin Panthers, falling 3-0. The Wildcats have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-17, 25-12.

East Duplin was led to victory by Kinsey Cave and Karsyn Parker. Cave had nine assists and eight kills, while Parker had six digs and three aces. Cave has been hot recently, having posted eight or more kills the last four times she's played.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richlands will square off against South Lenoir at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for East Duplin, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against Wallace-Rose Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
