Volleyball Recap: Franklin Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Franklin Christian Academy saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Hume-Fogg Blue Knights by a score of 2-1. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Franklin Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Tatum Beathard had four digs and three aces. Beathard has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

Franklin Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Hume-Fogg, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.

Coincidentally, Franklin Christian Academy and Hume-Fogg will both be playing Riverdale the next time they take the court. The Falcons will head out to face the Warriors at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Blue Knights will play them later in the day, at 10:00 a.m.
