Annandale proved they can win big last Monday (they won by eight) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They beat the Falls Church Jaguars by a goal, winning 1-0. Give Annandale's defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Annandale pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those three contests. As for Falls Church, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.
