Recap: Cinnaminson Pirates vs. Medford Tech Jaguars
The Cinnaminson Pirates scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They walked away with a 96-89 win over Medford Tech. Winning may never get old, but Cinnaminson sure is getting used to it with their 11th in a row.
Medford Tech's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tre Powell, who scored 28 points along with eight rebounds. Powell hasn't dropped below 28 points for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Robbie Conyer, who scored 22 points along with five rebounds.
Cinnaminson's win bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Medford Tech, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cinnaminson will square off against the Bears at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Delran has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Medford Tech, they will head out on the road to take on the at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
