Jefferson had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They claimed a resounding 42-0 victory over the Sickles Gryphons. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Dragons also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Jefferson can attribute much of their success to Memphys Garcia, who rushed for 52 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 31 yards and one TD.

Coming up, Jefferson will take on Leto at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sickles, they will square off against Oviedo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
