Football Recap: West Marshall Piles Up the Points Against Ogden

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Marshall). They blew past the Ogden Bulldogs, posting a 49-6 victory. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa football rankings (they are ranked 88th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 213th) , the win on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win (which was West Marshall's third in a row) raised their record to 3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.7 points on average over those games. As for Ogden, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
