Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Frewsburg). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Cassadaga Valley Cougars 75-42. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Bears with their most commanding win of the season.

Trent Lewis was a one-man wrecking crew for Frewsburg as he went 9 of 14 en route to 23 points along with six steals and five assists. Those 23 points gave Lewis a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kael Collver, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine boards.

Frewsburg smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 12 consecutive matches.

Frewsburg's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Cassadaga Valley, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Frewsburg will venture away from home to take on Silver Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Frewsburg is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.2 points per game this season. As for Cassadaga Valley, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Cassadaga Valley Cougars challenge the Gowanda Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
