Softball Recap: Connell Comes Up Short

Connell lost against Cashmere on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 13-12. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Connell's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Cashmere, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Connell will host Royal at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 11.7 runs per game this season. As for Cashmere, they will be playing at home against Wahluke at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a 16-game losing streak.
