Soccer Game Preview: Brighton vs. Irondequoit

The Brighton Bruins will square off against the Irondequoit Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Brighton managed to keep up with Spencerport until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Bruins lost 5-1 to the Rangers. Brighton have struggled against Spencerport recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Irondequoit was forced to settle for a draw. They and Gates Chili finished up their matchup with a 0-0 draw on Monday.

Irondequoit's draw makes their record 0-10-1 this season. As for Brighton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Brighton took their win against Irondequoit when the teams last played on September 11th by a conclusive 4-0 score. Will the Bruins repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
