Albemarle has gone 6-1 against Goochland recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Patriots will venture away from home to square off against the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. Albemarle has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since April 15.

On Tuesday, Albemarle came up short against Fluvanna County and fell 4-1.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 12 runs the game before, Goochland was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They came up short against Charlottesville, falling 11-2.

Albemarle's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Goochland, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.

Albemarle skirted past Goochland 8-7 in their previous matchup back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
