Volleyball Recap: Hermann Falls Short of St. Vincent in the Playoffs

Hermann and St. Vincent squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Hermann had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Indians. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bearcats have suffered since October 6th.

Despite the loss, Hermann still got an impressive performance from Kealie Lane, who had 28 digs and one assist. Lane has been hot, having posted 13 or more digs the last five times she's played.

Callie Schnurbusch was a one-woman wrecking crew For St. Vincent. as she had 30 digs. That's the most digs Schnurbusch has posted over her last six matchups.

With the defeat, Hermann broke their five-match winning streak and moved their record to 18-14-2. As for St. Vincent, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-6-2 record this season.
