Basketball Recap: Circle Takes a Loss

Circle was the 66-39 winner over Independence when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Circle Thunderbirds took a 76-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Independence Bulldogs on Thursday.

Circle now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Independence, their victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-1.

Circle will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Parsons. As for Independence, they will head out to square off against Mulvane at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
