Soccer Recap: Air Academy Falls Short of Mead in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Air Academy can now relate to. They came up short against the Mead Mavericks on Saturday, falling 4-0. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Air Academy's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Air Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-5-2. As for Mead, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-2.

Air Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mead, they will venture away from home to take on Windsor at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Windsor's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Mead's offense will have their work cut out for them.
